Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
At my place of employment (night club), employees must pay to "valet" (park) their car and my car was stolen from the lot by a customer and its on camera. (we can keep our keys) He was actually seen going into the employee storage room with a manager where my bag was that had my keys. Once he got the keys he went straight for my car and didnt even have to look to find it as if he knew exactly where it was. Now the managers where I work were hesitant at calling police once I notified them my car was stolen, wouldn't tell the police the mans name, admitted they've known him for years and that he sells stolen products to the club. My car had a tracker on it and was still unable to be found. What are my rights? My car is completely gone, I had very important belongings in there, have kids and am unable to get around. The managers seem to be in on what happened and I don't know what to do. The cameras show the whole incident, as well as a closeup of the mans face, tattoos and him going into the storage room WITH THE MANAGER where only my items are held, and driving away in my car. The person that worked valet that night admitted to literally watching the man get into my car and leave!

You likely have a claim against the valet and your employer. You don't have comprehensive insurance ? If not how much was the car worth ? That will determine if you can find an attorney. Make sure the video is preserved
Your first stop should be with the police. Have them investigate. You may have a valid claim against the Manager and his employer. Notify your insurer.
I agree . . . . police first, but you have a claim against the club, the manager, and the valet. Do not delay in getting a lawyer to pursue this.
