I am the primary buyer on a financed truck that I have made all payments (on time) and insurance on. My Ex-Boss is the co buyer, can he legally take the truck?

If both names are on the title, you are both owners, you will need to file for "partition", show the court who paid what, and hope that your legal fees are not more than the value of the vehicle. Your question points out why people should never buy a vehicle together with someone they aren't married to.
