Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
who has right to property?
I broke up with my girlfriend last week. WE(my ex and I) bought some items on a credit card that my ex was the primary holder and I was the secondary holder on the credit card. The I bought the items on the credit card with my secondary card. The items purchased on the reciept are in my name. since we both were on the credit card and I made the purchases and the information is in my name. Who has rights to the property purchased? are credit treated like joint bank accounts?

Re: who has right to property?
credit cards are not joint bank accounts.
You don't say what the items are, who paid the credit card bill, or what the agreement between you and your ex was regarding the items purchased. This ought to be something that you can work out without lawyers' involvement, much less the court's.
