Property Damage

If I hit a golf ball and cause property damage not on the golf course, am I responsible for the damages?

Of course. You are responsbile both legally and morally. Despite the belief of many golfers, they are held to the same standards as everyone else under the law. Put yourself in the other party's place. Wouldn't you expect to be made whole if someone damgaged your property?

You certainly are morally responsible. You can argue the facts of the situation, but you admit to having caused the damage.
