Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

i purchase a car from an individual who had purchased the vehicle from another lady and did not have the title transferred to his name DMV now tells me she is now still the legal owner and wants deal with the guy we bought the car from. If she gets a new tile issued in Texas.Does that make the title null and void that I now hold. Do have any legal resource to get my $300 and my car back?

really quite impossible to answer your questions without seeing the paperwork. do you have the original title? whose name is on it? was it properly signed by the prior owner? is it completed to show the person you bought it from? who has the physical possession of the car? what does texas have to do with this? do you have documentation supporting the purchase and sale by the person you bought the car from? do you have a written agreement with your seller spelling out the terms? who do you need to get car back from? is that another car? seek some legal help with all the facts.
