Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
I purchased a diamond engagement ring for $7200. The center stone that I purchased was never explained to me that it was an enhanced diamond. I was sent an EGL that shows it is a Enhanced Diamond but was also sent an appraisal that shows it is not an enhanced diamond. I am trying to sell the ring and cannot find a buyer do to the center stone being enhanced. The appraisal was sent by the same person who i bought the ring from. I also think the appraisal is inflated to seem as if I recieved a great deal. Is this fraud and can I take this business to court to refund my purchase?

If you can prove in court (by expert testimony) that a fraud was committed, yes.
You must obtain an independent expert to document and testify that the gem was a fake and not worth what you paid. Then, you sue, and you may recover the difference in your purchase price.
