Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Okay , here is my question......I planted a church 16 years ago and the church grew to a fairly substantial size I have been the pastor for 16 years and the last 10 years I have had a Salary. 1 year ago I committed adultry and I went before the church and admitte it. The Church charter has a process for something like this. I was to voluntarily step down for 3 months and be restored by a team of the leaders and after that I was to regain my pastoral duties and rights. Prior to the 3 Months completion, they decided to vote me out of the church with no compensation for the time I spent theirl. DO I have a legal recourse for compensation for the time I spent there. Should i receive any retirement or severance compensation. The church is a 501C3

You need to have a lawyer look at all the rules, regulations, etc. connected with the process to determine this.
