Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
Sale of a vehicle
I have a 1973 Mustang that I entered into a contract to sell to someone on Dec. 31 of 2006. The sale price was $1500.00 which was to be payed by Feb. 28 of 2007. After the contract expired I continued to let the person make payments. I got tired of waiting and told her 2 weeks ago that she had until the end of the month to finish paying it. She decided not to complete the payment. My question is, she has payed $600 so far. Do I have to give that money back or not since she failed to complete her end of the contract?

What does your contract say? If she has breached the terms of a written contract, there should be a breach provision. If there are no breach provisions, it is not quite so clear.
