Savings Bonds for Children

My husbands aunt bought $500 Bonds for our children. They are co-owned by us. My husbands brother has the bonds and refuses to send them to us. They were at his mom's house when she passed away and he is keeping them. Do we have any legal recourse for him to send us the bonds?He is no where listed on the bonds. Thanks for your help with this matter.

Contact the bond payor as if the bonds are lost. Find out the procedure to renew.
