Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
My sister and I used to belong to a public school band program where each student had their own personal account managed by band parents. It would show how much money was owed and how much money was credited to the account, to use for future purchases. My sister and I both quit the program and have a combined total of around $100 credit in our accounts. Is there any way that would allow the band to refuse us our money back?

More information is needed. Is there written documentation? Was the money placed in the account specifically for you? Was it meant for personal use OR only band due? There are many ways that they can justify holding the funds.
