Slander

Please define for me the definition of slander as it would

be appropriate for a person to have signed a contract and

state that they would agree to not slander the former business they had worked for nor any of the people employed there.

Defamation, Libel and Slander are typically when someone makes a statement that is untrue to a third party either orally or in writing which is not true and with the intent (either negligence or malice) and the party that was "defamed" suffered damages.

Essentially, don't make untrue statements about the company to others.
