Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
Slander
A ''Person'' (The estranged husband of a female accuantance) went to my place of work, approached my employer and stated, as fact, that I had helped his wife to break in the husband's residence and remove his personal property. Does this constituten slander? If so, how do I get satisfaction?

Re: Slander
If you have been accused of a crime, such staterment was communicated to a third person and it is untrue you can sue for slander. Unless you have special damages your recovery would be limited.
