Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

small claims court

I know I do not need a lawyer, but I need to know if I have a case. I put a furniture purchase on a credit card for my ex-boyfriend (it was delivered to his home). We discussed payment aggangements. First orally--he told me he would pay, then he asked if I'd write down the arrangements; he has not come through. I was not able to save the voicemail where he stated he received the 1st email about the arrangemet. I did send an email again thanking him for reading it and at least contacting me through the phone. He will not communicate with me anymore. I've saved all documentation. Do I have a case?

Re: small claims court

From your description, you have a claim for breach of contract. You will need to prove you had a contract; he may say that it was a gift.
