How easy is it for some one to win a judgement against a person in small claims court if defendent does not appear?There is admitted credit card charges,however plaintiff says amount owed is more than that.There is no promissary note.How difficult is counter claim of pain and suffering?

If Defendant does not appear Plaintiff gets a default judgment, generally for the amount the Plaintiff is seeking unless the Court thinks it is excessive.
