Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

My son is currently incarcerated in fl prison, he has a sever med condition and has been assigned to on facility they cannot accomidate his med condition and he is 4 hours away from he Medical facility that can treat him, they took him by bus to the med facility and ended up having to take him to Jackson memorial hospital because he went into a coma after loosing several pints of blood. The situation hasnt gotten any better he was sent back to home base wasnt given his meds and regeratated lots of blood again and sent to the med facility.He has an ivin his neck leading to his heart, when that comes out??will he be sent back to home base to go through the same thing again untill he is deceased? Is ther grounds for a law suit?

Unfortunately, medical care given in a prison is the worst. I would contact the Floirda Department of Corrections. You can get this information via the web. Call the director or the hightest up you can reach and followup it up with a letter. Also, contact the doctor in charge of the prison facility your son is in to alert the doctor of the problem and follow it up with a letter. In addition, contacting your state congressman is also an option. Finally, a lawsuit may be appropriate but expensive.
