Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Spring & Shock Damage to Toyota Corolla.

Do I have a small claims court case if an exboyfriend damaged my car? He did so while trying to lower my car, he told me this would do no damage what so ever, but now only about 6 mos later there is severe damage and for parts and labor is going to cost around $600. Also, can I legally get my stuff back that is at his house for my car? He still has the stock radio and stock tires and wheels that he refuses to give back. I just want to know if I should pursue this or just chalk it up as a loss. Thanks

Re: Spring & Shock Damage to Toyota Corolla.

if he damaged the car lowering it, he is responsible for the damage. As for the parts, they are yours and you are entitled to have them returned.
