What is the statue of limitations on collecting a Sallie mae loan. Business that provided loan is closed and classes were never finished. Agreement / contract never signed

I find it incredible to believe that you got a loan from Sally Mae (through a school) and never signed a contract with Sally Mae. You would have to look at your loan contract to know the terms of the loan. Student loans are kind-of "special" in that they are extremely difficult (if not impossible) to discharge. You should be proactive in addressing the matter, rather than later mysteriously finding it showing-up negatively on your credit report.

Of course, it does not matter that you never completed the classes for which you borrowed the money.
