What is the statute of limitations for filing in this situation?

Ford repossesed a car last July. The car was paid for and the owner had a clear title. What is the time limit for filing against Ford and the repo company, for damges resulting from the wrongful repossession?

The Statute of limitations period for claims can run from 1 year to 4+ years depending on the nature of the claim.

This claim does not appear to be expired, unless you are suing for specific performance.
