stolen automobile involved in accident

My car was stolen by someone i did not know. They drove it into a fence of a person I do not know. The police happend to see the accident and saw people run from the car but did not chase or cacth them. Am I, as owner of the car, responsible for the damage to the fence? This occured in the state of Florida

Only if you were negligent in allowing someone to steal your car.
