maybe being sued

if me and another guy hit heads in a arguement and i pushed him away. the police were called and found no reason to arrest eather of us and no arrest warrant was issued for eather party. can i still be sued?

Yes -- what the police did or did not do is irrelevant to the existence of a civil claim.
