Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

summons

I recorded a equitable lien and sent a copy by certified mail to the de-

fendant, they refused to accept the mailing. I am planning to file a civil suit in county court for money owed under ''unjust Enrichment'',

but i am afraid they will not accept the summons by mail or by process server. How do i get them in court for pretrial hearing if they will not

accept anything by mail or process server or maybe even not by the Sheriff's department?

Re: summons

This is speculative, correct? The complaint can be served by a process server or sherriff to the defendant's residence or place of business, and service is effective if served on certain other people in those locations as well. Obtain the proper addresses where the defendant may be served or hire a private investigator help you. After the complaint is served, and the defendant doesn't show up in court, the court may enter default judgment in your favor.
