Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I live in a townhouse gated community someone crashed into my fence out back.the community never fixed the fence and by them not fixing the fence and leaving a big whole in it my four wheeler which was locked up in my yard was stolen .had the fence been fixed it would not have been able to be stolen .can i hold the association responsible the fence has been broken for two and a half months .the fence is only broken in my yard and the neighbors not everyones.
