Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
Is it a violation of legal ethuics for a practicing attorney to not advise the state bar association of the attorney's personal tax tax liability which is in excess of $250,000?

Your question is unclear. Has the attorney committed a tax crime? Does he owe $250,000 that he will be sending in with his return? Has he negotiated a payment plan with the IRS? Many affluent attorneys with successful practices probably have tax liabilities greater than $250,000 every tax year. I don't think there is an ethical obligation to disclose a "tax liability."
