You can file for divorce and let the family court decide how to handle the car issue. If you purchased the car while you were married it is most likely marital property. In the mean time keep making payments on the car so it does not reflect poorly on your credit. Short of a divorce you don't have too many remedies to deal with an unruly spouse. You need a family lawyer for this one. Best of luck.

You can also pursue the car in the city where it currently is located but you will need a local attorney.
