Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Wrong company suing me?

Someone attempted to serve a summons, but at my previous address. I looked it up on the court website and realized I'm being sued by my previous employer in small claims court, however a separate llc is named as the plaintiff, which I never worked for and never signed a contract with.

(I never had a contract with my actual, previous employer, either). Through further research, I found out that the LLC (plaintiff)belongs to my previous employer who is a franchise owner. However that LLC has nothing to do with the franchise that I was acutally employed by.

Can I argue that the case in invalid because of this?

It depends on what you are being sued for. You may have an argument.
