Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida

Baby Delivery Bill

I have received the invoices for the delivery of my baby. We are unable to pay them and can only afford $10 a month per bill (theres a ton of them). Some of them are threatening to send them to collections and I was told that as long as I am sending them something every month and the same time that they cant send us to collections. Is this true? They want us to agree to some monthly amount that is to high of an amount for us to agree to and they keep threatening that if we dont agree or pay in full that they will report it to the collections people which would ruin my credit report.

Re: Baby Delivery Bill

Sending money, in whatever amount, does not prevent them from sending you to collections or even suing yuo for the bill.

You should contact eacjh provider and try to work out a payment plan you can live with.
