Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
Baker Act
My boyfriend recently went to the doctor because had not been able to sleep for the past month. He also was very hyper and easily angered. The doctor sent him to the hospital and the hospital baker acted him ( against his will). He was diagnosed as being manic and released with in 72 hours. He is upset about the manner in which he was treated and wants to sue the hospital. Would he have a case?
