Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
Emergency room
I asked a question this morning about leaving Tampa General Hosp. on 7-28-08 refusing treatment. I never signed in. I was brought in by parametics. My husband arrived and we informed the staff that I was alright and wished to leave the hospital. Blood was drawn but no tests were run. I never singed anything. I recieved a bill for $757.00 that shows bloodwork was done the day after I left on 7-29-08. Am I responsible for that ammount even though it was run the day after I left without singing any piece of paper??

Re: Emergency room
Again, the most likely answer is YES. YOu will also have an ambulance bill.
If you have insurance submit the claim.
