i am currently on my fathers tricare insurance plan. but my benefits expire when im 21. i am pregnant and the due date is after my 21st birthday. will i be able to apply for medicaid benefits while my tricare is still active?

Call the medicaid office and ask. You should be able to file the application, indicating a future start date, so that your insurance doesn't lapse during your pregnancy.
