Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
Medical Question
I had a growth cut out of my chest by a doctor who stated that it would not leave a scar. It has left an obvious scar that is as big as if not bigger than the growth that was just cut out. The growth was not noticeable but the scar is a different color than my skin and about an 1/2 inch wide by an inch long. I would not have had it removed if the doctor had not told me that any scarring would not be noticeable. What to do? Who to Call?

Re: Medical Question
You probably signed paperwork that indicated a scar was possible. In any event, if the growth was such that it needed to come out, you will not find many sympathetic juries who will award money to you because they believe that you would inapropriately have decided not to have the growth removed.
