what if i am suffering from borderline depression and unable to work can i collect unemployment or is there some type of monetary help out there for me until doctor says i can return to work

unemployment benefits are determined by whether you are able to find a job. social security disability is determined by whether you are incapable of performing any gainful work. It is highly unlikely that borderline depression would qualify you for disability of unemployment benefits in and of itself.
