Mother needs medicade
My mother has been back and forth from hospital and nursing home three times since december. My questions is since she has medicare A & B and blue cross as a secondary insurance means that after 20 days the medicare quits paying for nursing home and blue cross as a secondary only pays 20%. She owns no property or car but has a savings account with 20,000 in it does she qualify for medicare in the state of florida and her being a retired state employee factor in at all

If you call medicaid and medicare offices, they can fully advise you on this issue and are well staffed to do so.
