does the insurance company pay the hospitol for medical bills or the injuried party ?

If this is a car accident, your insurance will pay its PIP benefits (usually $10,000). If you have health Insurance, submit your charges to that company thereafter. The injured party is always responsible as well to the extent that there is no coverage. If the person that caused the injury has insurance, that company may eventually pay money to you that will reimburse you and those insurance companies that have paid health care bills.
