Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
Private sale of prescribed medication
My doctor ordered a supply of Zocor to be sent to me by my pharmacy. After lab results, he told me to stop taking the Zocor. A month later after new lab results, he ordered a different statin for me to take, leaving me with 4 1/2 months supply of Zocor that the pharmacy would take back and reimburse me. Can I sell my unused supply of Zocor privately to someone who can supply me with a copy of their current and valid prescription for it?
