Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida

I just want to quit smoking.

I am not sure if the area of health care fits, but it is the closest I could find.

I would like to sue the tobacco industry. Not for millions like some desire. But for the money I have spent on cigarettes since I was legally able to smoke. And also for the treatment to quit.

I have tried quitting time and time again, but to no avail.

The tobacco industry has warned since I started smoking the risks of health involved. But I do not feel they have done enough to share how physically addicting it is.

I just want to quit smoking. For myself, and for my family. Do I have a chance at reaching a settlement?

Re: I just want to quit smoking.

The tobacco industry is very aggressive in their defense of suits. I don't think you have any realistic chance at a settlement and, frankly, I wouldn't think you have much chance at a successful law suit. Many employers or health insurance companies will pay for "stop smoking" programs. That may be your best bet to quit. Try harder and buckle down; hopefully you can kick the habbit.
