Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
Rescheduling surgery after pre-op has been done
Can a surgeon change the date for surgery after the preop has been done and the surgery has been scheduled. After you have waited six weeks for the surgery and are in pain. Can he just decide to post-pone in. Who pays for the preop to be done again?

Yes, he can. There are many reasons that surgeries are postponed if they are elective and not emergent. Your health insurance company generally pays for the pre-op. If you have none, raise the issue with the doctor.
