Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
Right to return to work
A friend of mine works as Office Mgr in an adult cooperative. She recently fell and broke her hip and was out from work for several weeks. Her Dr. has now released her to return to work --but her Boss told her she could not return for two more weeks! Reason given is that members of the Board of Directors are busy re-doing heer filing system -- and she would be in the way!!! Can her boss require her to stay off work two more weeks? She will be paid, but at the same time, a temporary person is being paid to 'fill in' for this Office Mgr.

Re: Right to return to work
why complain. stay home and get paid. they do not have to have a reason to keep you home -- especially if they are paying you. enjoy the vacation.
