Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
safety issue
I have an employee that wears a medical alert bracelet, and our safety rules stipulate he has to remove it for safety reasons. So, my question is if I make him remove it and something happens to him while working and EMS is dipatched to help him and procede to administer a medicine to him that he is alergic to because the medic alert bracelet is not on his person, is the company liable?
