Short Term Disability
I wanted to know if an insurance company can be held liable for mailing a letter regarding Short Term Disablity, to the wrong employer? According to HIPPA law?

No. HIPPA does not contain a private right of action. Lots or nice words, but no penalty enforcement mechanism for the consumer.
