Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

Aos interview

I had my interview on jan 22nd and i haven't heard anything back from yet. The io told me that they had to do a few more checks and that i should get something in the mail within 4 to 6 weeks... It has been almost 8 weeks!!!!!

Can a traffic ticket be causing the hold up.

Also how long do you have to wait to file an info pass?

Would it harm my chances?

Re: Aos interview

Why don't you go ahead and request an infopass and find out what is taking so long for the decision. They may be considering a second interview, but I don't think a traffic ticket would hold anything up. It also might depend on whether your AOS interview is based on marriage to a U.S.C., or whether the petitioner is a family member. Checking on the status would not hurt you. Good luck!
