Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
If I was approved for an O-1 at the end of May, do I only have 60 or 90 days or something to do my visa interview at my embassy here? Or can I schedule the interview sometime in the future (month or two) due to work obligations here? Will I lose my O-1 approval if I don't have my visa interview within a certain amount of time?

You will not lose your O-1 approval, however, if it was approved based on a contract for a specific project to be completed within a certain time frame, then waiting to apply for your visa could potentially affect the amount of time you are admitted into the U.S.
That being said, you should be addressing this question to the attorney who filed your O-1 in the first place.
