Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

my bother applied to be a citizen of the USA since 2009, he had some problems in the past he was carrying a gun he got probation for 6 months, the he had a problem with my husband and he punch my husband and he got in trouble for that he got a year probation for that and yesterday he got a letter from immigration saying that he had to appear before an immigration judge to show why he should not be removed from United States based on the charge(s) set for above we looking already for a lawyer can you tell me more what we can do thanks
