Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

I am a US citizen and planning to get married to my boyfriend from Spain. He has lived in America for 2 years on a temporary work visa and currently has a job. My problem is that I am a student with no job and being supported by my family and student loans. He has the money to support himself, but all the laws I have read state that I need to prove that I can financially support him. How do I get around this?

You can have someone help you meet the income requirements by serving as a joint sponsor.

Hi,

If there is anyone else who is willing to sign affidavit of support for your husband (when you are married), then the sponsorship paperwork can be successfully filed. We have additional information here: www.h1b1.com/Uscitizen.htm
