Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

I came under F1 in 1999 and now out of status for last 5 years. Now my uncle a citizen wants to sponser me to be legal. Can anyone help me ?

Where did you come from? Did you enter legally with a visa? It is not likely that your uncle can sponsor you -- there are no provisions in the family for sponsoring nieces or nephews, aunts, uncles, and other non-immediate relatives. Without knowing what country you are from, and a few other details, I cannot even surmise whether there is any possibility for you to become legalized at this point. Nevertheless, do you know if anyone EVER petitioned for you in the past? Is your uncle the only relative you have in the U.S. Did you ever consult with a lawyer, and if not, why not? Important details in order to give you a reasonable answer. Take care.
