Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
Cuban adjustment
I have a serious question about my legal status and I would like to explain a few things first.I married with a cuban man(1 1/2 year ago). I got my employment authorization and my S.S number on February 2004. The problem is: I start to have a lot of troubles with him and I don't know what to do now. To give you a couple of examples: a few months ago he started to take money of the bank account without a reasonable explanation, then he just sleept outside the house a few times and he didn't care what I said to him.To there, I was trying to work it out with him, but now the situation gives a turn really dramatic.I realized he got other woman, and besides SHE'S PREGNANT. So after we got a big fight, we discussed what we're going to do with that. His answer was that he wants to move with her. Now, besides all the pain he is causing me I don't know what to do, because in a couple of months ( depends how long Immigration delays, of course ) I was supposed to go for an interview to get my permanent residence.I'm really desperate, I know I need a lwayer for sure... but my big question is:Do I have any chance to get my residence? What I have to do? Is there another way to get the residence? Thank you
