Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

Want my family to live with me

I have been married to a US citizen for 5 years. Currently have a Permanent Green Card. My parents and my brother (20 years old)still live in Hungary. I want them to live with me. I know, that I could file sponsorship papers, but it would take way over 10 years, before their case would come up. I know, I checked already .And I would have to do the same with my brother, since he is over 18. But that process is not any shorter either.

They currently have turist visa, which they could use to come here, and than turn in the paperwork for them. But than they couldn't go gome until they receive their immigrant visas, or wouldn't be able to come back. And this process again could take a very long time. Are there any other legal ways for them get a green card? Thank you!

Re: Want my family to live with me

Assuming you are a US citizen, you are correct on your brother's wait of 10-15 years. However, if you are 21 or over, your parents are eligible for a visa right NOW. You need to consult an attorney for the process, as there are different ways of going about it. If outside the US, it takes more than a year. If in the US, just file and wait. But the process is delicate and requires expertise. Good luck!
