Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
Fiance or Spouse Visa
My boyfriend of 3 years was deported back to Mexico 5 months ago. I have been here in Mexico with him for 3 months now. We would like to return to Ft. Lauderdale as all my family is there and im in the middle of earning my degree. We would like to know wich is the best course of action for us whether i should return and file for a fiance visa or rather marry here in Mexico and file for a spouse or relative visa. And most importantly, will he even be considered? He was deported after being detained for a misdimeenor traffic case. Please help!

Re: Fiance or Spouse Visa
You can go ahead and get married and apply for a spouse visa.
He'll need to go through the waiver process due to the prior removal.
Did he also overstay illegally in the U.S. for over 6 months? If so, that would mean yet another waiver that needs to be applied for.
It's a complicated matter so I would suggest contacting me if you require formal assistance on this matter.
