Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

How can i find out my sons case number, his father lives in the USA (New York) and was filing for him but have stopped. my mom is filing for me but my son is now 21 and cant be added to my filing . my question is this, can my mom continue the filing his father started since it happened before he was 21? My mom lives in Florida. My mom and i are willing to pay if this is possible. I live in Jamaica.
