Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
I have some friends who have been married for over 6 years. The husband's visa expired and they have been trying for years to request citizenship due to their marriage. She is now pregnant. Can her condition be a determining or persuading factor when trying to request citizenship? Does it change the speed of the process?

If the immigrant spouse initially entered the U.S. legally (except in certain visa categories such as C, D and K visas), and the sponsoring spouse is a U.S. citizen, all sponsorship paperwork can be filed concurrently, and there is no need to rely on pregnancy as a mitigating factor.
