Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

My husband received a Felony DUI in January 2007- he did time and took care of all the court charges. However, we want to travel out of the country and he is a US permanent resident. Will this cause him any trouble when he comes back to US?

He is not attending any probation or got in any other problem, but we are worry because he has not left the country since this happened.

The answer is, "it depends". It is very possible he could have no problems. It is also possible that he could be detained upon attempted reentry and charged as an arriving alien. Some more assurance could be given after a complete review of his criminal and immigration history. You may want to hire a criminal - immigration lawyer to assess for you prior to traveling.
